What we collect
Your food log, weight entries, body measurements, progress photos, macro targets, and the profile details you give us during setup (age, sex, height, weight, activity level, and optionally a body-fat estimate). If you choose to connect Apple Health, TrackR also reads and stores coaching-useful Health data you approve, such as activity, workouts, sleep, heart-rate trends, weight, and body-fat percentage. We do not collect contacts, precise location, clinical records, or advertising identifiers.
How it's used
Your data exists to power your own tracking: daily totals, trends, and target recommendations. If you use photo features, images are sent to a third-party AI processing service solely to identify foods or estimate body composition, then the result is stored in your account. Photos are never used to train models and are never shared beyond that processing.
Apple Health data is used only for your activity tracking and connected coaching experience. It is never used for advertising, marketing, or sale to data brokers.
What we never do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. Foods you create stay private to your account and never become shared database content.
Your control
You can export your complete diary as CSV from Settings at any time, and you can permanently delete your TrackR account and associated data in Settings. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active so TrackR can provide your diary, trends, connected health information, and other features. When you delete your account in Settings, we remove your account and associated food logs, measurements, photos, health data, medication logs, and other user content from our active systems. Residual copies in encrypted backups and security logs are deleted through normal rotation within 90 days.
We retain a one-way hashed deletion record to prevent an account from being restored accidentally; it cannot be used to recover your email address or account content. Payment processors may retain transaction records under their own privacy policies, and limited billing, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained for up to seven years when required by law. We do not use retained records for advertising.
